Luxury vinyl tiles, also known as LVT, look like natural wood or stone but are actually made up of a series of layers, making them flexible. This extremely durable product is the perfect way to add warmth to your home. With a large variety of colours to choose from, we are sure you will find your match. Linoleum flooring is made from natural materials whereas Vinyl flooring is made from synthetic materials so don’t confuse them.

It is made in the form of tiles or planks. Luxury vinyl flooring is still a relatively new product and is one of the fastest-growing products in the flooring market. Vinyl floors compared to wooden floors are more scratch resistant, stain resistant and 100% waterproof. Most are also compatible with underfloor heating. LVT floors require low maintenance, they are easy to clean, repair or replace.
Difference between LVT Click and LVT Dryback (essentially glue-down)
Stick down is when you use adhesive to seal the vinyl floor directly to the subfloor. Click vinyl uses a click-and-lock system similar to laminate to securely connect the planks/tiles together. Both are widely used and both have their advantages. The glue-down floors require a perfectly smooth, solid surface, as any imperfection will reflect on the flooring laid.
Click flooring will be more comfortable, due to the extra thickness and underlay (layer of sound reducing backing). No glue is required for this, making it easy to install and won't crack or bend.
