INTRODUCTION
The following conditions apply to the sale of materials or equipment by One Stop Flooring Limited. Hereafter called ‘the company’. No alterations or additions to or exclusion of any part of these conditions shall be valid in law unless specifically agreed in writing by a director of the company. Nothing in the Buyer’s Terms of Purchase shall override, cancel or modify any of the Company’s Standard Conditions of Trade.
Our acceptance of your order by delivery of the goods constitutes a legally binding contract between the buyer and the company on these terms and conditions.
Meanings
“Buyer” herein shall include the buyer, owner or any other person who is in charge of goods supplied by the company. ‘Goods’, shall include materials, and any other item supplied or loaned by the Company.
Prices and Terms of Payment
Charges for goods and services supplied by the Company shall be paid in full before delivery. The price payable for goods ordered is set out on our website and in the showroom at the time of ordering. Upon agreement of the contract between the buyer and the company, these prices are non-negotiable.
Legal Ownership
The property in and title to goods supplied by the company shall remain within the company until:
- The buyer shall have paid the price plus VAT in full and
- No other sums whatever shall be due from the buyer to the seller
In the event of non-payment of sums due to the company from the buyer, the company shall be entitled to enter the buyer’s Premises and to physically re-possess and remove therefrom similar goods supplied by the company for which payment has not been received. It will be assumed that where the buyer purchases similar goods from the company on a regular basis that a stock rotation system had operated and goods still held related to invoices still outstanding for which full payment plus VAT hasn’t been made.
SPECIFICATION OF GOODS
Defects
It is the responsibility of the buyer to examine goods supplied by the company and to identify defects in materials and/or workmanship which might cause damage or injury. Illustrations, descriptions, weights and measurements shall be taken by the buyer as a guide only, and are not binding in detail. The company reserves the right without notice and without affecting the validity of the contract to make such changes in materials, dimensions and design as are reasonable and desirable. No claims for damages/discrepancies can be made after the installation as installation of our materials constitutes acceptance of the product in its current state.
While the company endeavours to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, if insufficient stock is held or the stock item has been discontinued, the company may, at its discretion, supply or deliver a substituted product or refund the buyer for such goods as soon as possible.
Installations
Where assembly of the goods supplied by the company is not undertaken by the company the buyer shall be responsible for assembly in accordance with the company’s instructions and shall ensure that such instructions have been obtained from the company. Failure to assemble goods in the manner prescribed in the instructions supplied with goods will invalidate the Company’s responsibility for damage caused to, or by the goods.
All our prefinished floors are finished. However, we recommend that all our oiled floors are treated with maintenance oil after fitting to ensure that they are fully protected.
Kahrs Terms
Customers will be charged £75 for failed deliveries.

Shortages and damages are to be notified to our office within 48 hours of the delivery date by email to sales@onestopflooring.co.uk
Kahrs Returns Policy: £50 +VAT uplift cost, 20% restocking fee, 28-day return policy from the date of delivery but you must notify One Stop Flooring within 14 Days of Delivery.
Quick Step Terms
Customers will be charged £75 for failed deliveries.

Advice, Information and Opinion
Before you place an order it is important that you check the manufacturer’s specification details for suitability of their intended purpose. If you are unsure about the suitability of the goods then please ask us.
One Stop Flooring cannot guarantee the colour/pattern matching from a computer monitor. Therefore, it is recommended you view the product in person, either in the showroom or via samples which are available through our site or directly from the manufacturers.
Limit of Liability
The company shall not be liable for damage or injury caused by its goods or workmanship beyond the replacement of goods or work verification of the buyer’s complaint. The company shall not be liable for any consequential loss caused by its failure or delay in supplying, servicing or repairing goods, whether the loss arises from the actions or from the omissions of the company, its employees, agents or subcontractors.
Deliveries
We will advise you at the time of order wherever possible of approximate delivery lead times. If there is a likelihood of a delay or we cannot fulfil your requested delivery date we will call you to discuss alternative options. All times and dates for dispatches and deliveries quoted are estimates and not binding on the company. Time will not in this respect be of the essence of the contract. Times given are on a best endeavours basis and are subject to force majeure. Claims by the buyer for shortages or non-delivery must be made to the company within seven days of the delivery date. Check all goods on delivery before you sign for them.
Our standard delivery service is made to the ‘KERBSIDE’ not inside the house, due to insurance guidelines so please arrange for adequate help to offload. Your delivery could be made on a lorry or a van so it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform One Stop Flooring of any road restrictions or parking restrictions. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction, it is within a “Red route” or there are time zone restrictions. Please inform us at the time of order to discuss alternative delivery options.
Deliveries are made when the order is complete from approximately 10.00 am to around 6.00 pm. Unfortunately requests for an E.T.A (Estimated Time of Delivery) are at the courier’s discretion. If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not home, or there is inadequate help available, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for redelivery.
One Stop Flooring has teamed up with reliable delivery partners to ensure delivery service levels are maintained. Therefore it is important to check the packaging for any visual damage to the goods and sign for your order on arrival. If you are unfortunate to receive damaged goods, or there are missing item(s) please make sure it is noted on the courier’s paperwork. We also strongly suggest that you contact us directly as soon as possible to make sure we are aware of the problem. This notification should be made to the company within seven days of receipt of the goods.
We cannot be responsible for any consequential losses. Therefore we advise against booking installers until the goods have been received and checked. Where goods are refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return we reserve the right to pass on any carriage charges that we incur in returning the goods to us and re-sending to you.
Please also note deliveries will be made to the cardholder’s address. We are unable to change addresses for card payment orders due to fraud protection.
- If goods are damaged you must sign for them as damaged.
- If you sign them checked or unchecked and they turn out damaged, we cannot replace or reimburse you.
- If the driver won’t wait while you check the items, either don’t sign for them and send them back, or ring us with the name of the driver. You can accept the goods but we are not liable if they are damaged.
- If the packaging is intact, please do not assume that the goods are undamaged.
Returns Policy
All goods returned undamaged or incorrect will incur a 25% restocking fee and delivery costs are non-refundable. Further delivery costs may be incurred if the undamaged/incorrect items need to be collected by ourselves.
The amount refunded will be the cost of the items less restocking and collection costs for all undamaged items. Goods must be returned to us in good saleable condition and in their original packaging.
Refund Policy
Refunds can take up to 30 days to process.
Guarantees
Guarantees given shall not be applicable outside the UK unless expressly stated otherwise by the company in writing. Any guarantees given will be invalidated if the goods supplied by the company are subject to misuse or accidental damage after the buyer has taken delivery of them.
It is advisable that you do not book a flooring fitter until you have had the delivery of the goods to ensure your wood is left to acclimatise. Damage caused to and by goods which are fitted without consideration for acclimatisation cannot be compensated for by the company.
Price Guarantee
Our Better Price Match guarantee on branded floors applies only to approved dealerships of that particular brand. We do not offer a price match guarantee on Quick-Step products.
Our price match policy is only applicable to identical products of the same brand and model
Product Representation
Drawings, photographs, part numbers, layout and style are considered the property of the company. Reproduction in whole or in part is strictly prohibited without written permission. Quantities and measurements are approximate. Trademarks are acknowledged as being the property of their registered owners. Exact products may vary from that shown; all products are subject to availability. Goods are not sold on a trial basis.
Owing to the nature of digital photography and other such media, the products shown on this website and in any accompanying media may differ slightly in proportion and colour due to limitations of browser software and monitors. Our products are derived from natural sources and so are subject to natural variations in colour, shade and general appearance. In some cases, there maybe sap wood.
Termination
The company reserves the right to suspend further supply or delivery, stop any goods in transit or terminate the contract by notice in writing to the buyer should the buyer breach any obligation hereunder or become unable to pay any owed amount due. Upon termination, your indebtedness to the company becomes immediately due and payable and the company shall be under no further obligation to supply goods to the buyer.
Calls
All calls may be recorded for training purposes.
Privacy and Security
Your privacy is of the highest importance to us, and we promise never to release your personal details to any outside company for mailing or marketing purposes.
We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide. Therefore we maintain the highest levels of security, both by Internet and telephone transactions. You can, therefore, rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.
