This rustic style maple floor is the darkest variety within the Artisan Collection. It is ideal for those looking for a more dark and elegant look to go with their home decor. The planks measuring 1900mm x 190mm with a 1 strip bevelled design, have been stained dark grey to give depth in colour and have been surface treated with a natural oil finish and then brushed. This provides for a luxurious textured surface which shows off the natural grain of the wood to the fullest extent. Kahrs Maple Carob has a total thickness of 15mm with a quality maple top layer of 3.5mm, meaning the planks can be re sanded a number of times if required. This floor utilises the Kahrs Woodloc system and comes with a 30 year residential guarantee.
For oiled floors Kahrs recommends an additional coat of Satin Oil is applied after installation.
